HOW LONG SHOULD MY SIGN LAST IN QUEENSLAND?

There are many varying factors that will contribute to the life of your signage. The main factor is always the sun, weather and where the signage is stored or located. Some areas may have better life than others such as cooler climates or shady areas.

WHAT ARE VINYL RATINGS?

Q: Is my sign going to last for 7 years if you have said it’s printed on a 7 year vinyl?

A: In short no, the vinyl media ratings are there to indicate the best possible media is being used and has a manufacturers rating of a 7 year media (un-printed). Ratings are setup to show media with a rating of 7 years is the premium product to use. 2 year media is temporary promo media. So you will only reach up to the rating at most but does not guarantee you in any way those amount of years for your signage.

The typical lifespan on your signage will depend on a number of factors like where is it parked? How much sun and weather does it receive? Have the signs been kept clean on a regular basis? These are the questions you will need to ask yourself if the signs are failing and you believe it’s from nothing you have done and that you have ensured your signage is always kept clean and looked after and stored in the right weather conditions. High heat and humidity can affect the longevity of your signage and is highly recommended to keep your signage undercover, in a garage and protected from the elements to give your signage the maximum life possible. A person who has their signs in direct sun and weather 24/7 will have a shorter life span than someone who stores their signage out of the elements.

WHAT VINYL’S DO YOU USE? ARE THEY A PREMIUM PRODUCT?

A: Yes!
We only use premium Avery products / films for all of our signage.

DO YOU OFFER ANY WARRANTY?

Q: Do I receive any sort of warranty for my signage?

A: Yes you do. We offer a 1 year workmanship warranty for your new signage. This warranty excludes any actual physical damage on the sign. This warranty only covers workmanship and not the vinyl media or laminates. Any replacement vinyl media may incur an extra charge. We also reserve the right to inspect any claims ourselves before determining the cause of the failed sign and we always request full photographs of the entire signage job to determine if a call out is required to investigate further.
