After persevering, hoping for the best and giving sufficient time to pass and care to see if Peppa as well as our situation would improve we were still not happy and still concerned about Peppa as she was now showing further signs of congestion, runny nose, shortness of breath and general lethargy as well as lack of appetite. We opted for a viral swab and booked Peppa back into the Nicklin Way Vet.
The swab tests confirmed Peppa had FCV – Feline Calci Virus along with a secondary infection (secondary infection is treatable with antibiotics).
